The "Horizon" litter was born March 3rd, 2007
While we were expecting a normal sized litter, nature had other plans. We are happy to have a single male puppy "Tuffy" who is healthy and is thriving.
Tuffy is owned and loved by Holly Howell and Catherine Shields - Tuffy lives with Holly, Titus and Indi in CA!

Pedigree for for the Carousel, "Horizon" Litter
Tuffy is the lone Survivor from a litter thad had died in the hours and days prior to whelping.
The rest of the litter died from Herpes Virus, confirmed through tissue samples from puppies from this very tragic whelping.
The fact that Tuffy lived and was unaffected is truly a miracle.
Tuffy is a most happy dog, he loves all dogs intact, male, female, he does not care!
Tuffy also has his sire's HAPPY waggy tail in the breed ring. Tuffy inherited his mothers amazing movement and red color.
In short, he is a very special boy and Holly and I are so happy with him and so GLAD he made it.
Tuffy is also a one of a kind,
due to health problems in the "Silver litter".
The litter Indi came from, none of the other Silver litter puppies will be bred.
