I book I just learned about from one of my puppy buyers that is new to showing a dog in breed, I thought it was FANTASTIC! if you are thinking about showing your first dog in the breed ring, or better yet waiting for that first pup to show in the breed ring, I found this to be an EXCELLENT book! RAISING A CHAMPION: A BEGINNER'S GUIDE TO SHOWING DOGS
"Building Blocks for Performance" is a must have book for anyone bring home new performance or show prospect, and if you are a pet owner these are great ideas to help build the bond of play and training between you and your new puppy

Nothing has helped me make my nerves work for me BETTER than this! This book was suggested to me by my obedience instructor Sandy Rowan, I can't recommend it enough! While there are LOTS Of books out there on this subject this BOOK AND AUDIO tape have been invaluable to me! I strongly suggest getting Book AND Audio tape – I listen to the tapes on the way to shows!

Bones would Rain from the Sky - another book all dog owners should read, just watch out for Ch 19! sigh. I think this is another great book to read while waiting for a puppy, or just enjoying your time with your dogs no matter what their age.

While I do not raise my puppies on a raw diet or advocate raising pups on raw food, several dogs from my breeding program as adults have been very well maintained and conditioned on raw diets. I think this is a great basic book
