Tessa pictured at 15 1/2 yrs old - and still going strong, well a bit slower!
Tessa is what started it all for Carousel Malinois, a vision that seems to now be lost by many Malinois breeders. Her sire U-CD Ch Bravo del Roble Sch 3 CDX PT NA etc. was a truly versatile Malinois and excellent producer, along with all his titles and his multi titled offspring he was also OFA excellent. Her dam Ch Souvenir Harmony CD was also great producer and OFA excellent as well.
Tessa's 3 generation pedigree includes - 2 Sch 3 dogs that were also breed Champions, another Ch Sch 2, as well as 2 UDT another UD, 3 CDX's one of which was also a 2x Best in show dog! an additional 6 dogs with a CD, 3 TD's (for most of them the highest tracking degree at the time) Of the 14 dogs in her 3 generation pedigree 13 were breed Champions.
Tessa's kids, grand kids as well as great grand kids are active in the show and performance arenas. To date her sons and daughters from 2 litters include 8 Champions, 1 UDX, 4 CDXs, the first and only Malinois VST and Champion tracker, 1 TDX, 2 TDs, 2 AXs, 2 AXJ, Herding Started titled, a Sch 1, as well as Rally titled, CGC and TDI dogs. She is also the mother of Best puppy in Sweeps at an ABMC National, High in trial winners. Her grand kids as also taking the world by storm with high in trials, Breed championships, herding titles as well as multiple agility titles.
Tessa inspires and reminds me to strive what her breeder and breeders of her sire and dam had been striving for, a beautiful dog that could do it all, stable smart and good looking.
